Mumbai METRO. The New Urban Identity
The Ring-Route, Mumbai Metro lines 2A and 7, comprises a total of 30 elevated stations which runs parallel on the east and west sides of the western and northern suburbs of the city. The 35 km stretch fully operational portion now is expected to decongest the Western Express Highway, the major arterial road of Mumbai.
Metro Line 2A will run from DN Nagar Andheri to Dahisar, while Line 7 will run from Dahisar East to Andheri East and also connects Metro Line 1 of Ghatkopar - Andheri - Versova corridors.
