Programmatic, Sales
An exciting role based out of our Bangalore office, to have responsibility for all programmatic revenue in India. As the Programmatic Sales, you are accountable for overseeing the growth of our programmatic revenue and delivery of all campaigns.
This role sits at the heart of JCDecaux’s ongoing digital transformation, with focus on Digital and Data as strong growth pillars. You will need to understand the programmatic marketplace, be commercially minded, with a great personality and attention to detail.
This role is expected to evolve as programmatic revenue grows. We’re looking for someone who has a growth mindset, can be flexible in their approach, and who is happy to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation and positive market influence:
- Work closely with airport Sales team to generate and increase revenue to meet and exceed the team’s quarterly & yearly revenue targets.
- Drive pDooh discussions with business partners including DSPs, digital and media agencies and clients across India.
- Build and develop relationships across DSPs, digital and media agencies to widen the buyers’ pool
- Strategic responds to DSPs & agencies’ queries & briefs in a consultative manner on time and pro-actively following up these responses to achieve a positive outcome
- Influence client decision making by delivering insights, recommendations, maintaining top of mind presence and positioning JCD advertising as the market leader
- Accurate monthly forecasting as well as the ability to make sound decisions to maximise occupancy make accurate forecast and revenue reporting on monthly basis
- Detail pDooh growth roadmap and successfully implement plans
- Be the subject expert and be involved in training and educating both internal and external stakeholders
Market Education and Product Awareness:
- Be capable of presenting to clients in a competent and professional capacity to help educate clients on pDooh
- Be able to discuss various Data, strategies and solutions that exist within our JCDecaux Data Solution Verticals
- Keep up to date with market trends in programmatic to ensure quality and relevancy of client communications and optimisation
- Educate members of the team on new developments, to maintain a consistent level of knowledge across the business unit
- Partner with Internal and External (i.e.DSPs) marketing team to develop Programmatic collateral such as Presentation decks, case studies, PRs etc
System, Process and Technology Management:
- Display a passion for Ad Technology and innovation to solve client problems
- Provide troubleshooting assistance to internal and external stakeholders
- Undergo the required training and induction throughout employment to increase skill base, client relationships and engagement
- Troubleshoot campaign delivery and performance via intimate understanding of VIOOH
About The Person:
What you should come equipped with:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in media sales, specifically driving ambitious revenue target achievements across OOH media.
- You have proven ability in building relationship with clients and agencies
- Practical experience in working with at least one or more of the following: Advertising clients, Media Agencies, active DSPs (such as The Trade Desk, Yahoo DSP etc) and have some overseen programmatic OOH is an advantage
- A good understanding of the programmatic supply side and demand side eco-system including DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, DMPs etc as well as bidding technologies
You are a committed team player - adaptable, approachable and resourceful - and also carry a die-hard, positive, can-do attitude:
- A great communicator (written and verbal) as well as a great listener while being thorough in your follow-ups to meetings
- Focused on accountability and not afraid of getting into the detail of the products and job to be done.
- You also enjoy being part of the media industry and building relationships with clients and agencies
- You are adaptable within a fast-changing “start-up” environment and can multitask and prioritize several projects at a time and take initiatives when opportunities surface
- Ability to meet targets, builds long-lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service to clients
