In continuation to their recent campaigns on cloud computing, Microsoft has again created a land mark at BIAL. They have selected the longest media format available at the airport, the 90 m long check in glass façade to promote cloud computing.
This gigantic media of 90x2.8m is strategically located in the check in hall common for both Domestic & International passengers departing from Bangalore. This location offers 100% visibility to the campaign with a clear focus on the IT industry which represent 24% of the total passengers.
Made out of 3M removable SAV this one single site blends with the airport architecture and design and represents the largest advertising display ever done inside an Asian airport terminal (Source JCD airports).
Since the installation had to be done without disturbing the passenger flow, so the team has decided to implement it in a phase wise manner. The glass façade has to be spotlessly clean and thoroughly checked before proceeding to the sticker installation process. The stickers were printed as per the size of the glass façade and manual cutting was done to have a better finishing. It was also very important to take care of the installation margins so as to give a seamless look to the entire façade. The entire process was completed in a short span of 3 days with minimal hindrance to the passenger flow.
